Privacy policy

This is a demonstration website concept for Deluxe Barbers and Styling Shop, a one chair barbershop in Longmont, Colorado. This page explains what happens to your information when you view it, which is very close to nothing.

The short version

• This website sets no cookies and runs no advertising or analytics trackers.
• It has no contact form and collects no personal information at all.
• The one outside service on the page is an embedded Google map, described below.
• It does not build a profile of you, and it does not sell or share personal data.

Information collected automatically

This site is a set of static pages with a self-hosted video. It does not run analytics, advertising pixels, session recording, heat mapping, or any similar tracking.

Like every website, the server that delivers these pages keeps standard request logs, which include your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user-agent string. Those logs are created and held by the hosting company and exist to keep the site running and secure rather than to identify you.

Cookies

This website itself sets no cookies of any kind: not strictly necessary ones, not preference ones, and not analytics or advertising ones. There is therefore no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to.

The embedded map

The Visit section embeds a small Google Maps frame showing the shop's address. When that frame loads, your browser requests it from Google, so Google receives your IP address and standard request details, and Google may set cookies inside its own frame under its own privacy policy. The frame is set to load lazily, so this only happens if you scroll down to the map. If you would rather not load anything from Google, don't scroll to the map, or use the written address instead: 515 Main St, Longmont, CO 80501.

Other third parties

The typefaces and the video on this site are served from this website itself rather than from Google Fonts, YouTube, or any other outside service.

The site contains ordinary links to the shop's Facebook page and to Google Maps. Nothing is loaded from Facebook, and Facebook learns nothing about your visit unless you click that link.

Your privacy rights in Colorado

The Colorado Privacy Act gives Colorado residents rights over personal data: access, correction, deletion, portability, and opt-outs from targeted advertising, sale, and certain profiling. The Act applies to businesses above defined thresholds (broadly, processing data of 100,000 or more Colorado consumers a year, or 25,000 or more while earning revenue from selling personal data). A one chair barbershop is very unlikely to meet either threshold, and in any case this site collects no personal data to exercise those rights over.

Because this site runs no advertising or analytics, universal opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control have nothing to act on.

Children

This site does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included.

Changes to this policy

If what the site does changes, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it.
