Accessibility

This demo site was built to meet WCAG 2.1 AA. This page describes what that means in practice and what to do if something doesn't work for you.

What the site does

• All text, including text over photography and video, is checked for AA contrast.
• Every image carries a written description; decorative elements are hidden from screen readers.
• The whole page works with a keyboard: a skip link, visible focus outlines, and a logical tab order.
• The hero video is silent and decorative, and the page never requires watching it: the same information appears in the text alongside and below it.
• When your system asks for reduced motion, animation is switched off: no scroll effects, no parallax, and content simply appears.
• Headings are structured, the language is declared, and touch targets are comfortably sized.
• Text can be resized to 200 percent without loss of content or function.

Known limits

• The map in the Visit section is an embedded Google Maps frame, and its internal controls are Google's. The address is also written out in plain text right beside it.

If something doesn't work

If any part of this demo is hard to use with your setup, contact the studio that built it and it will be fixed. This is a demonstration page, so feedback goes to the designer rather than to the barbershop.
